I saw a good price on a pair of Wilson EM4 shoes, and I'm wondering if they're any good.

I know they're a pretty old model, but they have a pretty decent gum rubber sole, and they're at a very decent price.

The same thing goes with the Hi-Tec Adrenalin. They're at a good price and I like the gum rubber outsole.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Besides the sys4, are there any other shoes that have a full gum rubber outsole? They should also have good ankle support, and they should be relatively light.

I don't know if I'm wrong, but gum rubber is usually softer than regular rubber, it has a natural tan color, and it's somewhat transparent. I believe the Asics Gel line has it.
The outsole in the Adidas adiCORE and Stabil S don't look like gum rubber. They look like painted regular rubber, and it's very hard. The same thing goes with the Ektelon line.
I purchased some Wilson EM6 a few years ago, but the sole wore out too fast. And I believe they started coming apart after a few months.
I've been told the Stabil shoes are also very heavy.
So I'm looking into the Spinshots and the Reebok KFS Excelsior. I believe the latter does have a full gum rubber sole, and they're very light. The only problem is that I haven't read any reviews.
I thought the Spinshots also had full gum rubber, but I noticed that it has a white sole.
So I'm still not sure which to purchase

There are so many outsoles with completely different tread designs (zig zag, circular, straight lines, pebbles) that it's just impossible to know which is best.
For example, The outsoles of the Ektelon OC-1, Hi-Tec 4Sys, Wilson EM6, and Kane's current shoe are so different to each other. Is there actually a difference?

And yet another question on shoes...
Has anyone worn Ashaway shoes? If so, does anyone have any comments on them?

I've been looking at indoor court shoes these past few days to see if I find any that have a full gum rubber sole that may be used for racquetball. Today I was looking at some badminton and squash sites, and I saw some really nice shoes that could be also be used here.
I really liked Prince MV4 squash shoe. It has an all gum rubber shoe with some nice treads. http://www.just-rackets.co.uk/tennis-rackets-squash-rackets-productdetails.aspx?ref=2392
Most of the Yonex badmington shoes have gum rubber (Yonex SHB-101, SHB-42EX, Cushion 91). And they're also very 'modern'.
http://www.badmintonalley.com/category_s/4.ht
I'm also looking at the Wilson EB7 and EB9.
I liked the gum rubber sole in PK's shoes, but its design seems a little outdated. They should redesign their shoe so that it looks a little more modern.
Structurally speaking, is there actually a difference in structure between racquetball and squash and badmington shoes? Wilson has several models that are advertised as racquetball and squash shoes, yet the only difference is the color.
In my case, the only type of shoe that seems to stick more to the floor are the ones with gum rubber.
Any help is appreciated

Has anyone tried squash or badmington shoes?
I'm leaning towards the Wilson EB7 and the Prince NFS O3
The Prince MV4 looks like an awesome shoe, but I noticed they're quite heavy.
I haven't seen any reviews/posts on the Ashaway shoes. Are they any good?

Yet another question on shoes.
Has anyone tried the Reebok KFS Excelsior? The whole outsole is made of gum rubber, and they're nice. They're also a tad lighter than the Spinshots, and much lighter than the 4:Sys or the Stabil.
I like the Spinshots but I'm not sure how much grip the white outsole with the weird grooves has.
I'd like to purchase a shoe with an outsole that's completely made of real gum rubber, and excellent ankle support. I need all the grip I can get.
I currently use the 4:Sys but I want to try something different.

I'm still searching for a good pair of racquetball shoes at a decent price, and I found a site that sells the Hi-Tec Vector Xcel at a reasonable price.
I like them because they have a gum rubber outsole. But I don't know how well they stick to the floor, or how stable they are for the ankles.
I'm just hoping that someone here has used them.

Has anyone played with Mizuno volleyball shoes? A local tennis store has a "sale" on some Mizuno shoes, and I'm thinking of purchasing a pair. They had the Lighting, Spike, Wave, and Tornado. I prefer purchasing locally because online ordering of shoes has been a drag lately.
For me the biggest issue by far is ankle support. After that I'd prefer it had a real gum rubber sole. I'm an Open player, and I depend on my speed and court coverage more than anything else (ie. I don't want to twist an ankle playing).

How bad can they be? I mean... they're Jonathan Power Original Indoor Court Shoes. And they're only $30.
Has anyone ever tried them?

Has anyone tried the Adidas Stabil 3? Do they have good ankle stability? Do they stick to the court? I've heard they're a little heavy.
I found them at a really good price, and I'm thinking of purchasing a pair.

I saw the SDX3 Squash Shoe on sale for $50 and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I play about 5 times/week, 1-2 hrs/day.
I use the Hi-Tec Wraptors and I was thinking of buying another pair, but I haven't found them at the same price.

just as interesting is how your identity on MNP is a week old, yet you know to search back to 2008 for all those shoe inquiries.

Not that interesting.
Because a person has not posted or just recently registered an MNP identity doesn't exclude them from following the forum. Duh
Eh, maybe you didn't know, so here goes.... people can come to this open forum to read and learn without posting or registering.
Searching is a function thats been around for a bit now. People know about this.

Lots of people glean info from here, discuss it at the gym and others sometime follow up..... as a guest viewers.....without the need to register..... and to scroll previous posts if desired.
I myself have browsed here occasionally over a period of time, especially as of late.
